As I see it, after 18 years, it should be able to do more than just the basic 
functions.
If everyone is supposed to/wants to switch to it, then it should be possible to 
use it to its full potential and not point out that important functions are 
only experimental.

Then maybe I should go back to X11 after all. Session restoration has
supposedly been working there again for about 6 months.
