I tried to explore this today with a couple of installs on dc7700...
- both were Lubuntu resolute installs; initial made by earlier ISO than
today; then an install alongside so I have at least 2x systems & dual
boot... THEN manual partitioning installs over both initial (sda1) &
second (sda2) install looking for this...
- both installs had numerous packages added; both differing; including
wallpapers, games, regulars I install... (none of which I believe relate
to this bug) PLUS I added other kernels including
linux-image-hwe-2404 inc. 6.17 kernel & 6.19 package..
BOTH INSTALLED PERFECTLY.
I couldn't find a 6.18 kernel in the repository; the d780 resolute
install HAD IT installed (linux-generic, as an older resolute install)
but that package now contains 6.19 not 6.18...
I wonder if that's the difference, and what causes dracut?? ie. older
kernel not in repository.. but that doesn't actually relate to the KEY
ERROR MESSAGE I SEE in session.log anyway..
