Public bug reported:

I have Ubuntu Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS with Linux 6.17.0-14-generic now.

Even after a fresh reboot, Ubuntu shows lags in mouse movement. I have no
special mouse (gentix 4KCherry). The lags show by stuttering curser (still
fast, but slow enough to be seen).
Actions to provoke misbehaviour (no special preconditions, just on Ubuntu
desktop)
1. moved my mouse to one direction
2. stopping to move
3. waiting some seconds (optional; no matter how many)
last step:
4. THEN moving to the opposite direction

Seen misbehaviour:
- even during step 1, the mouse stutters
- on step 4, the cursor once appears in the old direction. This is unexcepted
and makes no sense for me. The next mouse cursor views follow the direction,
still in the same stuttering kind. What could be the issue?

Further info on my environment (partially on proposal by AI, so decide yourself
if you need it):

I'm using Wayland (no difference on xorg)
