That's correlation not causation :) Multiple different issues can be caused by Tiling Assistant...
The message: "Extension point conflict: there is already a status indicator for role tiling-assistant@leleat-on-github" sounds familiar as I've seen it in another bug report which I cannot find right now. But still, this bug isn't about that message, it's about shell crashes.
