Focusing on the description, as that should be kept up to date and accurate (if it isn't, please edit it), I tried to reproduce the bug based on the "pending package updates" condition:
*I fully updated my 24.04 machine *I set screen blanking to 1 min in gnome-control-center *I rebooted the machine *I downgraded one package *I started update-manager *I let it sit for 1 min The screen blanked; Systemd-inhibit does not list Update Manager. Do you observe that? Or is there any step that you deem essential to reproduce the bug but was not carried out in the test?
