I've verified there are no regressions caused on initramfs-tools based system.
1. Used BM iSCSI instance with cloud-init 26.1-0ubuntu3~26.04.1 2. Replaced dracut with initramfs-tools 3. Rebooted 4. Verified normal reboot time (~5 mins) and the presence of critical:true post-reboot. Attached is my terminal log of executing the test. ** Attachment added: "2161665-oracle-initramfstools.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-init/+bug/2161665/+attachment/5988314/+files/2161665-oracle-initramfstools.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2161665 Title: resolute: Oracle 100 minute boot/reboot delay due to ISCSI root not detected on dracut-based images To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-init/+bug/2161665/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
