Analyzing Debian backports: bookworm: - it is based on the very latest (matches stonking), then the backport reverts a few - set micro-revision (unsure what that does for now) - keep the old path of systemd files - That makes it pick up other fixes like fixes to apparmor in 4.9.8-1 fix issues on big-endian, ...
Bookworm was mid 2023, but but we'd backport at least to Jammy. That would pick up "Put tor services after network-online.target instead of after network.target (re: tpo/core/tor#40679)" which came in 0.4.7.12-1 That could be too much for this "only the microrelease" update. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2163259 Title: Tor sunsets <=4.8 - update to 4.9.11 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tor/+bug/2163259/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
