Correction to my previous comment about component overrides — I
investigated the actual convention across series:

* Retired golang-1.NN toolchains have ALL binaries demoted to universe,
including -doc (stonking today: golang-1.23/1.24/1.25 sources AND their -doc
binaries are all universe).
* The -doc-in-main seen in resolute for golang-1.24-doc/1.25-doc is just stale
stable-series overrides, flagged by component-mismatches as "wants to go back"
to universe.

So the finish-line change for this transition is simply: golang-1.26-go,
golang-1.26-src, golang-1.26-doc: main -> universe. No -doc carve-out.
