What happens to users who have bin:cuda-toolkit and/or bin:cuda- toolkit-13 installed in resolute, and upgrade to this version from unapproved? There are rules for package transitions: https://wiki.debian.org/PackageTransition b) Such a major change as (a) is not mentioned in d/changelog, why? c) Actually, your d/changelog is quite bare bones. It's fine to mention the upstream changes as "Updated to new upstream version <foo>", but packaging changes must NOT be dismissed, and there are quite a few (ignoring debian/redistrib_*.json): debian/changelog | 12 ++ debian/control | 47 ++--- debian/control.template | 43 ++--- debian/cuda-toolkit-13-1.lintian-overrides | 3 + debian/cuda-toolkit-CUDA_MAJOR_DASH_MINOR.lintian-overrides.template | 3 + debian/cuda-version | 2 +- debian/patches/0002-add-version.json-from-deb-files.patch | 20 +-- debian/rules | 4 +- debian/source/lintian-overrides | 7 +- ** Changed in: cuda-meta-13-1 (Ubuntu Resolute) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2154008 Title: Update CUDA 13.1.1 to CUDA 13.1.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cuda-crt-13-1/+bug/2154008/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
