If someone is able to patch nautilus-share for asking samba password we
take it ;) Until Bug #208419 is not resolved.

** Changed in: nautilus-share (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Medium
       Status: Won't Fix => Confirmed

** Summary changed:

- nautilus-share permissions
+ nautilus-share permissions (samba password is not set)

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: nautilus-share

- I can setup a share using nautilus-share and I can access the share from my
Windows laptop. BUT this access is read-only
- What good is that? I'm authenticated so why can't I read and write to my
share?
- Do i have to allow everyone else to have write permissions just so that I can
have write permissions?
- What if I want read/write but others to have read-only or no permissions?
- Is there a more granular way to set permissions on shares created with
nautilus-share?
+ Using nautilus-share to share a folder with authentification, noone is able
to login (with authentification, guest write access is working)) in the folder
with write access.
+ We must use "sudo smbpasswd -a user" to set the password for an user.
