Yes this is still a problem. I have experienced it only during the use of the terminal server client. If left for a time due to activities around the office the workstation will stop responding to mouse input. This has the effect of you being forced into a restart situation from the power switch as the keyboard input will only access minor functions.
The nett result of this has been to keep the Ubuntu workstation relegated to minor play and experimentation functions only. Sad really as Ubuntu seemed to have a lot of promise.
