I was able to fix my problem by deleting the origional profile and
creating a new one. Follow the directions that Rich has listed in this
discussion. Thanks Rich.

bookmarks are gone, I can not add bookmarks or import bookmarks
backup, the toolbar does not work, the buttons back, then update are broken,
the bar gives direction errors
