There was a time a few years ago, when DMB absenteeism was at an absolute high and the Technical Board didn't seem to have much to do, that I had the thought that it might be a good idea to roll the DMB responsibilities back up into the TB directly. Circumstances have changed since then on both the DMB and TB side, and I no longer feel like this is a good solution. I agree that when our boards are not operating effectively, that is a serious frustration for members of our community.
