Question #49401 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/49401
Greg C posted a new comment: Well, I fixed my problem. I recommend others try this too. The short of it is: Power Down your computer. Remove the battery, power chord, ethernet and anything else that happens to be plugged in. Replace battery, power chord and ethernet. Power on computer. Connect to internet (firefox) using ethernet. Then connect to a wireless access point and unplug ethernet. I specified connecting via ethernet first and all that jazz because I am superstitious. It will probably work if you just do the battery thing.
