Yep, I'd think this is maybe a better option than a doorbell of some sort. To be honest, while i may or may not be able to answer any questions, between with all the channels I have to monitor for daily work, I admit to generally forgetting that #ubuntu-hams is even there, and don't notice really when someone says something in there. I hate to say that, but I just don't have the bandwidth to actively watch and reply to non-priority channels. I'm always far more likely to see an e-mail than I am an IRC ping anyway. I'd vote for Kamal's suggestion, where this a voting topic. -- Jeff Lane - Server Certification Lead, Tools Developer, Warrior Poet, Lover of Pie Ubuntu Ham: W4KDH Freenode IRC: bladernr or bladernr_ gpg: 1024D/3A14B2DD 8C88 B076 0DD7 B404 1417 C466 4ABD 3635 3A14 B2DD _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-hams Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-hams More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
