My dear brother and sisters, I am a new member of linux. I am struggling since one week to go online. After following all tutorials even my problem is persisting. With other computer which has Microsoft windows xp- version my WLL is working okay. But i have problem with my Linux version.
My internet connection is WLL, which is provided by BSNL. Kindly guide me as to how to configure my Ubuntu (version 7.10, Gutsy) so that I can get on line. Is any special software needed? I have installed PPPOE via synaptic manager .The wll connection is via USB port. My modem is provided by BSNL. CDMA Fixed weireless terminal model- 260B.
