I'd rather stick to working in the Ubuntu community rather than trying to
stretch out to any and all FOSS device users.  Why not Nokia N800 users?
Why not Motorola Z6 owners?

I think a better opportunity for this type of excitement/action is the
netbook remix users.  The people who use these could possibly see an
advantage in using the same software on the desktop as their 'netbook'
(depending on how/what the manufacturers implement).  But thats a while down
the road.
