______________ @Ronnie: ok for Amarok if you prefer :) I believe that "WindowsXP" and "Solitaire" both imply that Ubuntu is OLD-FASHION, don't you think ? As it looks difficult to separate the text, please: 1) try not to use English sentences (such as 'works flawlessly in Ubuntu') because it will make the video useless for non-English teams. 2) For the last screen, other LocoTeams will have to put their URL instead of ubuntu.com and write "Ubuntu, the free OS" in their language. I think it is possible with a sub-title software. So please create a 2nd version without those 2 elements (just the Ubuntu logo in the middle/top of the screen).
@all: don't you know any good "Movie-maker" on Ubuntu? sorry I don't know anything about film editing, but here are some examples running on both Windows and Linux: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_alternatives_to_proprietary_softwares#Multimedia Regards, Yann > From: Ronnie Tucker <[email protected]> > I'm loathe to use RythmBox as I could never get it to > work with my iPod Classic, but Amarok worked flawlessly. > > I'll maybe remove Solitaire and put in a couple of > Windows games with the name of the game and something like 'works > flawlessly in Ubuntu' > > Translation could be a problem, since the app is Sony > Vegas, so whoever was translating would need to install Vegas.
