Given that we are happily using GNOME keyring on the desktop already, I certainly won't complain if we continue using it. However, we need to sort out how to set a master password on it and whether we need a UI to unlock it. We might also want to optimize it for mobile use: at the very least, I think it should quit automatically after some seconds of inactivity: given how rarely the service is used, I see little point in having it in RAM all the time.
