Had to add my $.02 about pulse audio. I had lots of issues in 8 thru 11 ub & ubstudio. Enough that I switched to AV Linux for a while. But when I tried 12.04 the pa devices just show up in jack along side my firewire devices and my dsp source/sinks. No problems so far with 12.04 or 12.10 ub studio.
