I was suggesting setting up a complete "ubuntu patched branch" for translations to have a setup similar to the packages from main. AFAIK * the translation branch from LP is not the Gajim main devel, but the one already packaged in Ubuntu. * Gajim translations from Launchpad were enabled with the approval of Gajim upstream developers. * Gajim translations are contributed by sending an email: http://trac.gajim.org/wiki/DevTranslate This setup should be similar with enabling universe translations in Ubuntu, just that the templates are not listed in the same place and there is no language-pack support. > BTW I'm just wondering whether such one-line-translation-patch are frequent > and > if they merely don't get translated?
