Great - can I leave that side of things to you? Obviously I can't determine how long a new ubuntu-docs package would take to get approved into lucid-proposed and then lucid-updates because that would be up to the ubuntu-sru team, but we can plan the first part. > If we agree on that, we should probably send a separate e-mail with an > announcement for the update, mentioning the new templates being > uploaded, and the translation deadline for docs + other translations in > the language packs. I may have misunderstood, but that is kind of what I had intended to do in my previous email! > As a side note, I think it would be useful to sync such updates with > point releases on LTSs. That's definitely a good idea. From the docteam's point of view it seems to me that this is a question of improving organisation - obviously availability can get in the way too but our planning should be a lot better. I have been thinking about trying to establish a maintain a running docteam calendar with key dates for items like this, so I will raise this for a separate discussion or at a meeting. -- Matthew East http://www.mdke.org gnupg pub 1024D/0E6B06FF -- ubuntu-translators mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-translators
