You're a star, using %'d gets me around the problem.
Does Ubuntu run a Pootle server itself? I remember looking (though that
was a long time ago) and it seemed very complex to translate back then.
It's really hard to tell with Launchpad which bits are safe and which
aren't :/

Hi,
I'd rather say it's another bug in Rosetta and another reason for
Ubuntu to translate upstream parts in upstream.
Original strings (nautilus template in GNOME 3.8, message 152):
#: ../libnautilus-private/nautilus-file-operations.c:278
#, c-format
msgid "%'d second"
msgid_plural "%'d seconds"
So it is worth to use "'" in translations to make the parser silent.
Best regards,
Yuri
