Could somebody please check out one or two churches in the Columbus area? Usually they've got more space to hold more people. Conneaut Church of Christ here in my northeastern corner of the state can seat about 100 in their auditorium and has been used for non-church events before.
With Governor Kasich's intentions on closing the budget gap really not clear, we need to have a backup site just in case Governor Kasich follows the lead of California Governor Jerry Brown and zeroes out state-level funding for libraries. Our state's public libraries might well be under quite a bit of stress by the time the statewide rally comes around. Having at least an Alpha Site will help ensure we don't get caught if public libraries lose their main source of funding in our state...an off-the-top cut of state income tax revenues.
