I have a secondary computer at the office which is not used frequently.
I was using it the last few days last week. It had a clean, updated
install of 12.04 64 bit. The video performancwe was very laggy. So I
took a look at what it had for video. It was nvidia, and thew 295-40
driver was installed. In synaptic, as of Friday, the current nvidia
driver available through the repositories was 295-40. I ended up using
the swat 295-53 driver, and the video improved sigfnigicantly.
