Question #76232 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76232
lbrinin posted a new comment: all the reviews I have read and watched (cnet tv) say this hp a6700y is blah slow and ordinary for the price and I agree. It would be good if I had an idea what would be better in case I do have a chance to swap up. I am thinking since I have had good experiences with dell I should try for that but I also know that "drinking by the label" is always a mistake There is a warranty on this thing so I am not sure if I add my old hard drive will invalidate the warranty? I was thinking it would be nice to get my info from the old drive then install ubuntu or debian on it but the hard drive is 500 gig so maybe I can split it in half and install windows 7 on one half and ubuntu on the other half -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
