Tom proposed the following answer: Dohh, i have done it again. The number in the Windows section should be 5 not 4 shouldn't it. So change root (hd0,4) to root (hd0,5) Apologies, it just wouldn't have allowed us into Windows but would at least have appeared in the menu on boot up.
