Windows is the bare minimum and since clones are looking to only put in the bare minimum, never. Microsoft used to only require a SCSI card support 4 SCSI commands, which led to the rise of Can't-Adapt- Crap brand SCSI controllers in the marketplace. People really got their eyes opened up when they tried to use those controllers in Novel Netware servers. Similar problems happen today hence we have Toshiba putting in a software only modem which requires customized commercial fax emulation software before it can be used as a fax, yet they advertise their notebooks as having a faxmodem. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ubuntu Linux" group.
