Yesterday I finally managed to install the latest debian version on my
workstation. But now I need to add some programs that are not listed
in synaptic, but which I can find e.g. on http://packages.ubuntu.com
(hardy or intrepid). So I tried to add some ubuntu repositories to
the /ect/apt/sources.list by attaching lines like
deb http://archive.ubuntucom/ubuntu hardy universe multiverse
etc. But when I start synaptic again, it complains and I have to
remove the new lines again to let it start properly again. What do I
need to do?
