Ok, I just tried to install the drivers. Had all sorts of problems, so I
ended up removing it.

Hours later, I'm still trying to get it back like it was (I no longer want
the binary ATI drivers).

I'm using an ATI Radeon 9100IGP. My xorg.conf file was empty before I
started all of this, and it is empty now (restored backup). As far as I
know, I'm using the same driver as before 'radeon'.

Display works, and xorg log looks fine. Log confirms that it is loading the
radeon driver, without problems.

Now, though, when I run 'compiz --replace', it won't start. It says that xgl
is not present:

Checking for xgl: not present
Detected PCI ID for VGA:
Checking for texture_from_pixmap: not present.
Trying again with indirect rendering:
Checking for texture_from_pixmap: not present.
Using fallback...

Anyone know how I can fix this mess? It used to work just fine before
today...
