I'm running Hardy Heron. When I start my computer, Evolution starts up automatically. I'm not upset with this, but I didn't ask it to do this. It just happens.
If I close Evolution, I can't reopen it. alt-F2 won't start it. Clicking on it in Applications won't start it; clicking on the icon in the panel won't start it. Evolution is broken. I have a lot of contacts in it that I don't want to lose or re-enter if I can avoid it. I have a lot of stored messages as well. Also, If I try to use the calendar, I get the message that the memo feature (?) isn't working, and Evolution must be restarted. I don't know why memos and calendar are linked in this. Evolution is broken. Is there any way to fix this without losing all the stored data?
