I'm not sure who the guy was, but he was wearing glasses. I returned Hide & Seek Safari. A few weeks ago a 5th grader brought it to class and we had fun one recess with it. So I checked BGG to try to make a trade for it and found a guy who works at R&R Games who had it and extra wands for trade. I sent him a trade offer, but a week went by with no reply. The next week I happen to stop in a BGR "just to have a look." :) Well, there was Hide & Seek Safari and I made an impulse purchase. :) Wouldn't you know it, the next day the guy on BGG sends a reply to my offer and it looks like we can work something out. I think, "No problem, I haven't even opened the game up yet. I'll just return it." So that's how it all happened. My wife actually returned the game, but when she got home and told me I was surprised. I HATE those stores that have a restocking fee--especially when you haven't opened anything and all they have to do is set it back on the shelf. I stopped shopping at Circuit City for that very reason (and now they're going out of business because of it :) ) It's a shame because I really liked BGR, but I won't shop there as long as they have a "restocking fee" and I won't recommend them to others.
Ken, I will certainly give Games People Play and second look. I need to see if I'm on the 20% discount list. Do you think he could/would order in Wings of War Miniatures? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "utah county boardgamers association" group.
