I believe his name was Bart. nice to meet you (from all of us here), and hope to game with you in the near future. How did Neuroshima Hex fare? Anyone from that table care to comment? I own it but am reluctant to intrduce it to my sweetheart.
truth be told, I left early to be with Rachel to go watch a movie. it's funny, earlier that evening I remember commenting to a few of you there that Rachel hates confrontational games for 2 players, but still plays many games with me (now over 100 games and still going, what a woman!) but that she also has a blacklist including: Race for the Galaxy (no woman alive likes this game0 Lost Cities (hates to score, and to lose it) Battlelore (I cheated and whooped her once by playing a lore card that gained me three flags with one swoop- she miraculously held back the tears as she was one turn away from winning. However, (deep tension building pause...) when I got home, she had Battlelore set up on the table in my appartment, and she wanted to play! (Again I say, what a woman!) Actually we decided to watch Chinatown, and she came over this morning and we played it- and she won (honestly she did "wink!") she likes it now yeah!!! she told me to put fairy tale on the black list in its place.
