It is interesting - although I didn't really see enough there to make me
want to buy it. It was interesting enough that I wouldn't mind playing it
again however.

My first impressions are that there is some really large discrepancies in
the power of the events on the cards. Some, really allowing for a single
player to make a massive change to the round at their choosing. That George
Washington card that just ENDS the round and was pretty much the equivalent
of adding a card in Risk that would allow you to drop a nuke on Australia
and wipe out the populace.

The other thing I didn't like was they want the backs of your cards to be
visible to the other players at all times but when you spend most of your
time reading the events on the cards you just drew there isn't really a very
easy or friendly way to allow me to do that. Optimally you would have them
face down on the table so people can clearly see them but - well - unless
you have xray vision you won't be able to read the events.

Still - it was intriguing and deserves another go. Maybe with only 3 or 4
players instead of 5 however.
