Hi Peter,
I said something about this to you at the ELC-E this year in Grenoble.
Well, I looked again at latest buildroot, and it seems to me that it have
been solved for newer gcc with the option BR2_CONFIGURE_STAGING_SYSROOT.

But for older gcc (3.x) it should be fixed yet. I'm going to send a reworked
patch I've done in the past with the explanation.
Please have a look and decide if it ok, or rework if there is a better way
to address the issue.
