I'm currently redirected and using a toolchain with eglibc. We haven't abandoned the idea of using uClibC, but we just don't have the time to get the RT stuff working for mips right now. I did, however, make things link against backtrace and work, though I still don't know whether the backtrace calls would actually work. I see no reason for those to not work (given that the code is all C code without any fancy processor specific code). I have a patch that will enable backtrace UNTESTED and completely separate from the list (though Carmelo did provide info for making it). BTW, I'll need to send it as an attachment as LookOut doesn't like patch files.
