X-Mail-List: ufdbGuard
I've been getting a new error I haven't seen before when updating the Shalla
blacklists.
I had been seeing errors in ufdbguardd.log that the proxies table was out of
date and I needed to update it. I ran my update script for the Shalla lists
which involves running ufdbConvertDB at the end to convert all of the blacklist
domains files into the domains.ufdb format. But I still got the error messages
that the proxies table was old and out of date.
When using the Shalla blacklists, their proxies lists are called "anonvpn". So
that ufdbguard will have a proxies list I rename the Shalla list's anonvpn to
proxies. Then, after all blacklists are updated I run ufdbConvertDB. It seems
that ufdbConvertDB does not update the proxies/domains file if there is already
a proxies/domains.ufdb file already present. I am now having to first delete
the old proxies/domains.ufdb file first before running ufdbConvertDB which then
creates the updated proxies/domains.ufdb file allowing ufdbGuard to start
without a FATAL error from the expired proxies/domains.ufdb file.
Any thoughts?
Also, I had previously mentioned that I was unable to get the administrator's
email link to appear correctly on the URLblocked.cgi page until I removed the
%22 http encoding characters from the administrators email line at the top of
ufdbGuard.conf. Should that line be changed in the sample ufdbGuard.conf file
or is this something possibly unique to my setup?
