While I originally (half year ago?) preferred also some of the advanced
algorithms, now I would vote for the well known USM only.

The reason being that

x the images, wich are worth it, are usually finalised in the image
editor anyway - and it has the refocus/... already.

x it is usefull to have a cropped area of 100 % - 200 % zoom for preview

x "precise" sharpening is done on the image of the final resolution
(web, printing)
