I suppose it'd be too much to expect  Ms. Toro to apologize to the Baganda for so mercilessly maligning us, let alone a withdrawal of her baseless statements.

And then too, while I am no politician of any description, there was a time in the recent past when I wrote on the internet agaist these senseless wars on quite a regular basis.

I'd like to see what any of these folks did to ameriolate the situation or even said when the Baganda were suffering in the mid-80s.

Thanks Mr. Ssemakula,
I think Toro and those who share her ideas understand
that the people of Buganda like all other Ugandans do
not like war and have sympathetic to the suffering
people of the North.

Makes one wonder what Ms. Toro's agenda
is! Outside of Acholi, which other community in
Uganda has been as outspoken against this war as the
much hated Baganda?  WHY IS THIS SO?

Lisa, can you please name what those "other places"
are? Why do you mention Buganda and hide those other
places?
You also said >"Not because they do not know the
betrayal some Buganda did to the Northerners">
Lisa, can you be honest and tell when did this betray
take place? Who betrayed who? I think it was Obote who
betrayed Buganda by attacking and killing Baganda who
did so much to bring him to power. Did Baganda betray
Obote, Amin, Lutwa or it's the northern army which
fell out which each other?
You further said >Now that the NRA/ LRA wars have

Are you serious with this statement? Have you not
heard various Buganda politicians condemning the war
and the attrocities in the North? The Kabaka of
Buganda H.M Muwenda Mutebi personally called for an
end to the war. Various player meetings have been held
in Buganda for the suffering people of the North not
once not twice. So what are you talking about?
How many Northern politicians did that during the wars
in Buganda?
Lisa, stop and think before you write your nonsense.
stop your prejudice.
