The fact is the  US/Museveni/NRM  have for the last 17 years hatched out a plan to exterminate the whole acholi population. The US cannot now come up with in the eleventh hour I hear to launch Gulu Recovery Plan.  Any plan to suck up, so to say, to the acholi at this eleventh hour   is not going to work period.  You played your political card so to say!!

JIMMY KOLKER, the United States of America Ambassador to Uganda, has launched the Gulu Economic Recovery Partnership (GERP) that aims at supporting the revival of economic activities in the district.

"Government and civil organisations have come together to support the Gulu recovery programme. The programme was launched by the USA Ambassador to Uganda Jimmy Kolker at a function held recently in Gulu," Dr. Maggie Kigozi, executive director of the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) told The New Vision recently.


The partnership is to be supported by UIA and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) among others.

It includes the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), the private sector, government departments, civil society, religious leaders and the youths.
