THE Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels have killed three Sudanese Dinkas working with
an NGO, Rapid Response.
The three were killed when the LRA ambushed their truck at Corner Ogwee in Lokung
sub-county in Kitgum district last week.
Kitgum LC5 chairperson Nahaman Ojwee recently said the rebels also injured two others
who were reportedly travelling in the same truck.

He said the truck was reportedly transporting relief food from Kitgum town to Sudan.
The commanding officer of the UPDF 5th Division, Col. George Etyang, confirmed the
attack and said the Army repulsed the rebels soon after they had hit the truck.
