The problem we must make public again and again is a simple fact that Ugandans are not critical thinkers. Many times I have gone back into my postings in these forums and wondered why every thing I predicted on Museveni and movement have become true to the last data. You and I know that it was even impossible to post any thing happening in Uganda on Ugandanet because all Ugandans here were praising Museveni as a good leader, a man who has done absolutely nothing good for our nation. Museveni was a disaster from day one and he had all the writing on the wall. From how he conducted his war in Luwero to how he became a president. Museveni addressed us in Nairobi and he categorically stated that he is fighting but he does not want to lead Uganda. Ugandans believed him, but I did not for I knew the man from way back.
Why are we today in 2005 surprised that he is wasting public funds? when has he ever been responsible to Uganda's funds?

The issues you are raising are irrelevant to my concerns. I doubt whether
you supported EVERYTHING the individuals in that 'elected government' were
doing especially as they did not consult you (their supporter) on every act
of theirs. And I further doubt whwther everything they did was on behalf of
the people. While, for instance, the British still wanted Blair (by
re-electing him), they , however, disapproved his Iraq adventurism: If only
he had asked them, they would have certainly said NO.
I can understand your frustrations especially with respect to living out for
nearly 20 years (?) but you should not overplay it because many of us have
been there before you for roughly the same period but at different times and
for the
same reasons as yours (forced exile) although not necessarily from your
'elected
government'. All the happenings you are citing about the behaviour of the
youg people, we have seen it all but those involved during our time were
mainly apartheid refugee patriots from South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe,
who, like Ugandans, were people.
I hope you will not turn this dialogue into an unendless one by raising irrelevant arguments, which you are normally wont to.

Did you allow Museveni to come to power? Museveni went to the bush and
attacked an elected government, you stood up and supported him. Shovel it.
There are reasons why we take a hard look on issues in our nation, I want
you to show me where you opposed when this man was fighting an elected
government. Did you oppose him when he attacked The Bank of Uganda in
Kabaale? Did you oppose him when he bombed an ambulance with a patient in
Mubende? You supported this man because you agreed that the elections were
rigged, yet to today you or any of your followers have not told us who won
that election.
Bottom line Uganda is a personal property of Museveni, and any one who expects him to do better than this is naive, he is actually even doing better than I expected. Mwe mugende muwumule kasita mwebaka.
Baffles how it takes the idiots 20 years to know how their nation issuchup, now wait for the long term effects of this leadership you will see. Look I have been abroad now for almost 20 years, but I have never seentolda crime from immigrants from Uganda. Toronto as we speak has a kid who killed a Canadian, a kid, he is in jail, London a kid again killed her mother and left her in house for 3 days with out telling any one. He was cooking food and eating and sleeping in the same house for 3 firkin days. and told no one. In states , a woman went to an immigration office andthem that she lied to her immigration officer when she was coming to thethe
states. They deported her including every person who came with her, this
included 6 of his now grown up kids and their families, because she was at
bottom of immigration tree.
Those are the future Ugandans. Just watch out you will see how it plays after 10 years from today.
