Now, now, brother Matek,
(Almost took you for Opoka, former fellow Lumumbist
friend!!)
International laws exist, yes, we all know. That,
though, is no reason not to thank the late Nyerere,
for instance, for helping to remove Amin Dada. ( Amin removed himself...he was the aggressor who invaded TZ and committed heinous crimes against Tanzanians in Northern TZ).TZ Government only counter attacked the regime in Kampala in Self defence. Ugandan Exile groups ..like Vicose Mwalum only took advantage of the siutation in order to achieve their objective, i.e to liberate Uganda. Indeed, never has it been stated that Uganda exile group living in TZ conspired to overthrow the Tanzanian Governemnt even as TUSTIS did in Ugnada!!!
International laws exist, yes, and yet a million lives
of our Rwandan compatriots perished in the full glare
of world press.
Tutsis Perished not because the international commuinty could not help...rather because of Western Conspiracy with Museveni. It was thought at that time that any Military intervention at hieght of the genocide Rwanda , by the the UN could somehow derail or rather jeopardise the goal / objective if you like , which Western conspirators had in mind for Rwanda and the Great Lakes Region...that is why a million tutsis perished!
That Acholi soldier bit is not exactly authentic, of
course, and you know it. Kagame as a kid when, during
Amin's time? If yes, where?( one of the Uganda Army officers stil alive and well who rescued little Kagame is still alive and well...I guess he can tell us the truth!!)
Always respectfully,
Rutigita
