NO!!

Government must be taken over. Why don't you want government taken over??
What are you afraid of or what are you protecting?? A party not in government
cannot craft solutions to a national crisis like the ones in the North and
East. That crisis can only be solved by those who created it; and if they
cannot solve the crisis they have created, it would only be wise to vaccate the
seat of government and let those who can, do their job. Dr. Besigye called for
political reform years ago; that alone is one strategy to solve the political
crisis in the country. Those who failed to pay heed, did so and continuous to
do so at their own risks; for, the seat is Kampala is going to change; only a
matter of time.

So, don't ever try to argue that Ugandans should not look to changing
government in order to bring a necessary change; Ugandans must look to changing
government to bring about a necessary change. To argue that Ugandans should not
look into coming to power to make necessary changes is like Abbey's Uganda
government has no jobs!! How hogwash can that be??

Tom Jabwe,

Why is it that solutions to Uganda's problems are only
based on this or that person/party being in power? And
this power only means president or government. Now you
are saying that DP might even be more corrupt when
they come into power whenever that is. What is this
obsession with governments and power?

I believe there are many many DP members who can do
much much better, develop Uganda and bring it up to
date without necesarily being in government. One does
not need to be the president of Uganda to own and run
a dairy farm for example. Instead of thinking one can
only resolve poverty by being in government, let us be
creative and resolve our problems without being in
government.
