We are getting reports out of Brussels that the EU budget Commissioner
Janusz Lewandowski has stated that The EU has decided to back sanctions on
Uganda and Nigeria due to their stand on Gays and Lesbians issue. The
Commissioner continues to state that the EU has held and will continue to
hold contacts with both Uganda and Nigeria to determine on the future of the
relationship between the two countries and EU. He defined both countries
laws passed, as amounting to grave menace to human rights.
This is a developing story.
