Friends
A couple of major issues I will mention just quickly to all of my neighbors
in this great and almighty city of Toronto.
A} Today is the 181st birthday of this city, it was incorporated March 6,
1834 at 9am. In that time We have had 64 mayors thus making John Torry the
65th mayor. There are a number of functions that are going to take place in
the city log on the city website for details. Happy birth day Toronto.
B} There has been a an accident early this morning on 400, now this accident
is important to mention just to re-educate many out there. A guy got a flat
tire and he decided to change it on 400, he got swiped by another vehicle
and he died. Please stop to change tires on 400 series for you are risking
your life, Stay in the car services will locate you and pull you out. If you
look at the area where he died it is all on camera and the moment you stop
someone locates you on a screen and sends a service truck to you. Remain in
the vehicle and very kindly, there is just too much stupid deaths and this
is a kind.
C} Winter has been very atrocious, I have been on the weather network this
morning and all looks good forward, we are going to plus side from tomorrow,
Toronto is going to strike a 9 by Wednesday, Ottawa I think about 6 and
Montreal an 8. Get out there and take a fresh breath we have been huddled
into this cold way too long. Services have been affected by the temperatures
to a point that I have a friend that has had no water for 14 days for the
pipes are frozen, I have a lady I know that has been without power for now
since the storm. If you have oldies take them out side for it is going to be
better. We have too much snow on the ground and all is going to melt, kids
no streams for theyre going to over flow as a must.
D} We are changing the clocks this weekend in preparation of the season, so
we are losing an hour of sleep Sunday night, change everything that needs
to be changed by pushing it an hour forward. Change the battery in smoke
detector and carbon monoxide as well. It does not matter if they are new
change them again.
