Docs for JUNOS 12.2 : http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/junos12.2/topics/concept/subscriber-management-l2tp-overview.html It could simply be a case of documentation being out of date but in the middle of the page it states "Note: On MX Series routers, L2TP is supported only on MX240, MX480, and MX960 routers. It is not supported on MX80 routers." Rich.
