What seems much more important is automatic config generation. Even if via a dirty fudge I think I can force the confif onto the router automatically whatever the weather so before that I really need automatic config generation (from templates seems to be the best way thinking through the process). Does anyone have a tool like this they can show me (privatly off list even)? Are there any comercial products that do this? Open source ones? The logic isn't too hard to work out, I'm curious if someone already has something I can extend and modify though to suit my needs rather than going from the ground up - I know networks round here are using automatic config generations but I don't know anyone who works for those networks :) Cheers, James.
