Simon, You’re right - the EAD1000-LA component is pretty cheap, however the wholesale market price (from the likes of TTB, Virgin etc) for a full 1G National Ethernet circuit is in the region of £15k at the moment. That assumes that the provider has more than a 1G backhaul into the serving exchange themselves. If they have to throw more backhaul bandwidth at a PoP it will put a premium on the cost of the circuit.
