Hi lovely UKNOF folks...
The heavy-handed remote hands people in a colo that shall remain nameless
managed to snap off an ejection handle from a 100G CFP2 optic module, so
the optic now can't be removed from the device in a normal way of rotating
the ejection handle then pulling on the optic body.
Anyone had any experience of coaxing one of these out of the cage, or
helpful hints and tips they can share?
First thought is needle nosed pliers to grip the centre of the module.
Unless the handle actually unlocks a latch rather than just pushing the
module out? Haven't actually seen one of those modules IRL.
